Day 01
Arrival in Manali & Rest / Acclimatization
Morning:
Arrive in Manali, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel.
Afternoon:
Check in and rest to acclimatize to high Himalayan altitudes.
Evening:
Take a leisurely stroll around Old Manali cafes and Mall Road.
Night:
Enjoy a warm dinner and brief orientation for the Spiti expedition.
Day 02
Manali to Kaza via Atal Tunnel & Kunzum Pass
Morning:
Early morning departure via Atal Tunnel into Lahaul Valley and drive through
Gramphu & Batal.
Afternoon:
Ascend the legendary Kunzum Pass (14,931 ft), pay respects at Kunzum Mata
Temple.
Evening:
Descend into Spiti Valley via Losar and check in to your hotel/guesthouse in
Kaza.
Night:
Traditional hot dinner and rest at 12,500 ft elevation.
Day 03
Kaza Local - Key Monastery, Kibber & Chicham Bridge
Morning:
Visit the iconic 1000-year-old Key Gompa perched spectacularly on a
hilltop.
Afternoon:
Drive to Kibber village (one of the highest inhabited villages) and cross the
breathtaking Chicham Bridge.
Evening:
Explore Kaza town, visit local cafes and discover local Spitian culture and
sea-buckthorn tea.
Night:
Overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 04
Hikkim, Komic & Langza High Altitude Circuit
Morning:
Drive up to Hikkim (14,567 ft) and mail handwritten postcards from the World's
Highest Post Office.
Afternoon:
Proceed to Komic (15,027 ft), the world's highest motorable village with a
monastery, then visit Langza for the gigantic Buddha statue and marine
fossils.
Evening:
Return to Kaza with scenic views of Chau Chau Kang Nilda peak.
Night:
Dinner and overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 05
Kaza to Chandratal Lake & High-Altitude Camping
Morning:
Drive from Kaza towards Chandratal Lake via Losar and Kunzum Pass.
Afternoon:
Arrive at Chandratal camp site, check in, and trek 1.5 km to the pristine Moon
Lake.
Evening:
Watch the colors of the lake shift from emerald to deep sapphire at
sunset.
Night:
Hearty warm dinner and stargazing at the Milky Way galaxy under crystal clear
skies.
Day 06
Chandratal Lake to Manali via Batal & Rohtang
Morning:
Wake up to breathtaking morning vistas, enjoy breakfast and drive back via
Chacha-Chachi Dhaba at Batal.
Afternoon:
Traverse rugged river crossings and rejoin smooth highway through Atal Tunnel
or Rohtang Pass.
Evening:
Arrive in Manali, check in to your hotel and unwind.
Night:
Farewell dinner and overnight stay in Manali.
Day 07
Manali Sightseeing & Departure
Morning:
Enjoy a hearty breakfast with mountain views.
Afternoon:
Check out, visit Hadimba Temple and shop for Tibetan handicrafts at Mall
Road.
Evening:
Board your evening Volvo bus or private taxi for your onward journey with
