Day 01
Shimla Arrival & Drive to Sarahan via Narkanda
Morning:
Pickup from Shimla / Chandigarh and drive through apple orchards of
Narkanda.
Afternoon:
Stop at Rampur Bushahr along the roaring Satluj River.
Evening:
Arrive in historic Sarahan, visit the centuries-old wooden Bhimakali
Temple.
Night:
Dinner and overnight stay in Sarahan overlooking Shrikhand Mahadev
peaks.
Day 02
Sarahan to Sangla & India's Last Village Chitkul
Morning:
Drive along the dramatic Kinnaur cliffs into the lush Baspa Valley.
Afternoon:
Reach Chitkul (11,320 ft), walk to the Baspa riverbank and see the Indo-Tibet
border check-post.
Evening:
Explore traditional wooden houses, Kamru Fort, and local Kinnauri
culture.
Night:
Overnight stay in Sangla / Chitkul.
Day 03
Sangla to Kalpa with Kinnaur Kailash Panorama
Morning:
Drive from Sangla to Reckong Peo and ascend to picturesque Kalpa.
Afternoon:
Check in to hotel and take pictures at the famous Kalpa Suicide Point.
Evening:
Witness the golden sunset illuminating the sacred Kinnaur Kailash peak (20,000
ft).
Night:
Dinner and overnight stay in Kalpa.
Day 04
Kalpa to Nako & Tabo Monastery
Morning:
Enter the trans-Himalayan rain shadow zone via Khab (confluence of Satluj &
Spiti rivers).
Afternoon:
Visit high altitude Nako Lake, Nako Gompa, and Chango village.
Evening:
Drive to Tabo and explore the 1,025-year-old Tabo Monastery known as the
'Ajanta of the Himalayas'.
Night:
Overnight stay in Tabo.

Tabo to Dhankar Monastery & Kaza
Morning:
Drive to the cliff-hanging Dhankar Gompa perched precariously above Spiti
River confluence.
Afternoon:
Optional short hike to Dhankar Lake or proceed directly towards Kaza.
Evening:
Arrive in Kaza, check in to hotel and visit Kaza market and monastery.
Night:
Overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 06
Kaza - Key, Kibber, Chicham, Hikkim & Langza
Morning:
Tour Key Monastery and Chicham Bridge across a 1,000 ft deep gorge.
Afternoon:
Visit Hikkim (World's highest post office) and Komic (highest village with
motorable road).
Evening:
Stop at Langza for prehistoric sea-fossils and giant golden Buddha overlooking
the valley.
Night:
Dinner and overnight in Kaza.
Day 07
Kaza to Chandratal Lake Camping via Kunzum Pass
Morning:
Depart Kaza via Losar and cross high Kunzum La (14,931 ft).
Afternoon:
Arrive at Chandratal campsite, settle in and walk to the jewel-like Chandratal
Lake.
Evening:
Enjoy sunset reflections on the glacial waters.
Night:
Stargazing and cozy camp stay beside the lake.
Day 08
Chandratal to Manali via Atal Tunnel & Departure
Morning:
Early morning departure via Batal, Chhatru, and Gramphu.
Afternoon:
Cross the modern engineering marvel Atal Tunnel into Kullu Valley.
Evening:
Drop at Manali bus stand or airport for onward return journey.
